ALDO ROSSI - Shopdecor

ALDO ROSSI

Aldo Rossi was one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the second half of the 20th century. He graduated in architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 1959 and then started dedicating himself to several national and international projects that gained him many awards and a fame that is still intact today. In 1990, he became the first Italian to be awarded the Pritzker prize, which ushers in a series of awards that officialised a talent that had already manifested itself in several works across Europe. For Alessi, Aldo Rossi designed in the 1980s several traditional coffee makers that have come to be part of the collective imaginary, such as the Conica and the Cupola, two products whose charm still remains unaltered.
