Alida Forte Catella, of Sicilian origins, studied Interior Design at the Atheneo Artistico in Milan, starting, almost simultaneously, a design studio that would later become Coima Image, a space planning company for large companies and individuals. Silvio De Ponte, founder of De Ponte Studio Architects, is an architect, lighting designer, scholar, writer and lecturer at the European Institute of Design. After graduating, he worked for years as a set designer for internationally renowned theater companies. In 1990 he obtained the Master in Lightscape Design with Andrea Branzi; at the base of every De Ponte creation there is a careful research on the relationship between light, touch, color and matter, with the aim of bringing an experience to life and involving people. Catella and De Ponte collaborate to create design lamps for the renowned lighting brand Artemide.
