SERGIO ASTI
Sergio Asti is an architect and designer who, in 1953, opened his studio and became one of the first Italian industrial designers and a founding member of ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Many of his works are part of the collections of prestigious Design Museums all around the world. For the FontanaArte brand, he designed Daruma, which has been in the catalog since 1968. From the beginning, he also worked on the design of many public and private buildings, interiors and fittings including the Fiat showroom (Milan, 1964), the Offices of the FISI Presidency (Milan, 1976), the installations for numerous temporary exhibitions at the Triennale, La Rinascente and Eurodomus.
